I did using a cheap plastic handle. It has been working well but no matter what handle you use, pulling on the screen door (handle) to shut both doors from the inside is a bit problematic because of the plastic latch joining the two.

I find it interesting that you put both L and U (lock/unlock?) on the door. Humorous.

Some folks may try to twist to the left from the bottom position?

In the middle of the night when half asleep if you have to leave in a hurry some extra clues are helpful. Also I got tired of locking it and then later forgetting if I had, trying the other latch and releasing the catch but finding the door was actually locked. I am a bit thick at times. [emoji850]
I have a remote light inside and out at the door so I can see.

X2. This bar handle is inexpensive and easy to install. Surprisingly, I found the best price at Home Depot internet order delivered to my local store.

No, but I can't read the sign I wrote in the dark either.
There must be some logic in all this somewhere. I think the OP probably thinks we have less and less to contribute to the subject in hand, whatever it was. [emoji53] (Is there an emoticon with a frustrated head shaking left and right?)

Yes, easy install and works great. You must be careful if you try to close both doors when hooked together due to the plastic screen door handle. I cracked one of mine and had to replace.

Thanks for the replies....yes just was thinking of installing one when using the screen door only....bit of a pita when trying to close it with the plastic door window...I usually open it up when closing both though..
