Installing onan 5500 marquis gold

Hello everyone,
I'm needing help with an important item.
Vengence 306 V without genny. My unit was wired for genny with box and lines. But here is my dilemma, I'm going to pick up a Marguis Gold and install this week for the Bar B Que cook off and will not have power nor time to wait a month for this process. So my question is 1) can I hook genny to the one battery or do I need to purchase a new battery as dedicated. 2) this part concerns me so I need guidance, hooking unit to the PD 52 transfer relay. Which side and what wires would I need to hook on what side . I would have camper dealer install this unit but it's 600 miles away and local dealers won't mess with a unit they did not sell.. ( I hate that and they have lost my business).
So any help would be greatly appreciated ... Thanks
