Thank you, all for the input. I was thinking it would be pushing it a bit, and we certainly don't want to ruin our transmission. Maybe we need to look at a lighter pop-up toy hauler instead - any ideas on places with great prices?

not knowing where you live, makes recommendations difficult.
also, not knowing engine size and rear end ratio on the Sequoia, also makes it hard to determine your actual tow capacity.
if it's a v-8, you shouldn't have to settle for a popup.

We reside in Colorado, but are willing to drive for a good deal. The Sequoia is a 4.7 L V-8, 373 Rear end ratio.

well, with a "dry" weight of 4439lbs., not sure if that's a true UVW. meaning including weights of "options", which are the a/c, oven, spare tire, awning, water filter, battery and so on.
the 21RR has a huge CCC of 3216lbs.

unless you have a light toy to load in it, it could weigh close to your tow max of the Sequoia, when loaded for camping. which won't be good pulling in Colorado.

RVDirect has great prices and some Colorado residents have driven to Des Moines to pick theirs up from them.
they sell Jayco and FR products.

Re: CAM7892

Oops!

Now that I have my computer glasses on I can see that I missread your information (state & auto). I was thinking of the Toyota models that I was looking at but ruled out for my trailer.

Sorry,
T.

Any chance you could post a picture of your UVW so that us newbies can get an idea what it should look like?
