Motorcycle mount

I'm waiting on my forest river 27rr toy hauler to be built. And have already ordered and got my own financing through my credit union. Bank said we need the Vin # within 45 days . The dealer said we can't promise anything. I think I'll be fine there I hope I'm just a little nervous. Today talking to them I requested to have a removable wheel chock installed. And they said they will not do it and the factory will not either. Is there a option where there is one that don't need to be mounted I want one that will grab the front wheel and stabilize like the condor but they are pretty salty. I don't mind spending the $$ but I don't want to spend and then not be happy with what I spent.

does that make sence? Any suggestions.? I want to be ready for this summer. .. this is my first travel trailer had a pop up now I'm trying to step up.. sorry so long and thanks in advance. ...

Harbor Freight has one on sale now for $59 that I have seen the exact same one on the internet elsewhere for $125. There is also a one item 20% coupon for President's Day sale should save another $12. I'm heading out to buy one today for my new 21RR. Happy camping.

Hmm. I'll have to take a look at that one. What ever I get I'll probably have to modify and make free standing. Since I was told not to drill holes or I would void warranty. . And thanks I can't wait to get it

If you decide to lag bolt it to the floor(which is the ONLY way I'd go) make sure you find a stud or stringer that you can tie into. If room allows, do two chocks, this way if you bring a buddy's bike your all set. If you're concerned with voiding any warranty, call the factory directly. Sounds like the dealer doesn't wanna take the time to accommodate you. If the factory pizzes and moans, the warranty is usually only 1 year anyways.

We bought a 21rr and had it for two years. I thought it was a great trailer, just a bit tight for our Polaris rzr. We bought a 27rr and while we have plenty of room now it is difficult manuevering in campgrounds, parking lots and gas stations.

Thanks guys I'm gonna run buy harbor freight and look and get ideas. The size if the trailer does consern me a bit. I wanted the 21rr or I think it was the 21wp maybe. Buy wife wanted the slide out. So if I wanted my garage I better get her her slide out. Then while sitting at dealer ordering he's going through options and now I'm getting a party deck, screen, and power everything. Next time I know to give wife the cc and send her to the mall while I make the purchase

This is what I use, works great and I didn't have to modify the floor. they'll customizr the length to fit your toy hauler.

Motorcycle trailer restraint would depend on your bike. If you are trailing a motorcycle with a rear hollow axle, look at the Pit Bull Restraint System.

The above is the system I'm going to use for my 1000cc V-Storm.

For the Harley guys you should look to B&W trailer system call the "Biker Bar"

Yeah, and getting that bottom plate on without you here tonight was a blast, let me tell ya!

So, the BB is installed, it looks like it'll do what it's supposed to do. DW is already bugging me to remove the wheel chock on that side. I'm sure I'll be installing another one on her side when she sees it in action. The install was a bear--after doing Krawler's, we figured the second time would be easier, learning curve and all. Wrong! I had to tweak one of the lower mounting plates to make it fit along the frame, since that was where the hole needed to be. Also had to tweak the frame slightly to fit the main bolt down through. (Tweak=grind off.)

. Took a while, now I'm anxious to go somewhere with it!

BUT, if you would have measured more underneath the trailer before drilling, you would have avoided all of the problems

Yep--if we hadn't been so set on centering it and moved it over a half inch, a lot of that would have been avoided. We know now for the other side when she orders hers...

i took the one i bought from harbor freight put eye bolts on the front and two clevis's on the back so i could strap that down to the existing tie downs as did not want to drill holes in the floor when i had my TH

I use the harbor freight one also - just had hard time getting bike out of it with wife having to stand on it when I need to get goldwing out. Will be getting turn buckle bolts to attach wheel chock to d rings on floor next time. It works great making it possible to land bike and get off and it wont move while strapping it down. I also put horse pad rubber mat down to protect floor. **why does this site keep flipping one pic upside down??***

The picture in the HF directions was pretty bad and I installed the rocker backwards. I flipped it around and it worked better getting it out of the chock.

Im pretty sure its assembled right - my front tire fits very snug into it. Wont hurt to double check it though. Thanks
