Thanks for the help. It was icing up going through ducts and when I had the vent open to cabin. Could the coils be clogged

Yes, with ice. Let it thaw out. How long is your trip?

Sorry to hear that. Where are you?
I was at River Ranch this weekend and the A/c did good. Be interested to see what the issue is. As you know I also have a 26rr

Ok, so definitely iced and thawing should get you back. Catch 22 on how cold you can get the camper. A dehumidifier may help since there would be less humidity to freeze.
One of the mods I saw here was to add pc cooling fans to the fridge external coils which I may try this year. My kids don't like melted Freeze Pops

That may be something you want dealer to look at under warrantee. My brothers kept freezing up and he had defective AC. The dealer replaced the whole unit.

Thanks for all the help. I'm back home and ac and fridge is working great in my driveway. So I'm at a loss. I was at fish eating creek in palmsdale. Had a good weekend besides those issues.

All AC Systems need to cycle on and off to work efficiently. If you have your AC set so low that it can never get to that temp, and the compressor never turns off, it will most likely ice up. Set the temp so the Compressor cycles on and off, turn down a couple of degrees and run for awhile, if it does not cycle, well you have to live with the slightly higher temp. It can also be low on Freon, that causes icing as well. But, trying to make the temp lower than it is capable of is far more common.
