New 25RR

Just got a great deal on a 25RR from the Outpost, can't wait to pick it up in mid March.
Really been enjoy all the great posts and information on this forum.
I've picked up a few DIY skills in my 57 years, but it looks like the RV's might be a whole new animal.
Cant wait to tackle it, I'll be asking lots of rookie questions, be patient with me
Happy New Year to all you FR folks out there, look for me, my wife Deb and Cosmo the Wonder Dog on the roads soon!!!

New 25RR

Just put 19rr or 25rr or 26rr or 27rr into search box and you will find all kinds of mods people have done and since most of these models are verysimilar in set up the mod may be applicable to all models. Welcome to the FROG

Welcome. Enjoy your Wolf we do. (26RR). We are like 35 days into wintering in Various spots in FL. We still haven't decided on the rear couches/table other than the table goes. Tried a 5 foot Walmart table, To big. I am thinking hanging a 48" x 28" removable table off the tailgate with a gate leg. I have 3000 miles on the China bombs now with no indication of failure. Watching closely.

I took that heavy table out and now use it in my shop. Replaced it with three TV Tables I bought a WalMart......Much easier to store and three folks can sit on couch and eat.

The couch is very uncomfortable to relax on and I have no use of it as another bed.

What I'd really love to find is a couple compact recliners that fold up against the wall. Now THAT would be perfect!

New 25RR

I use TV trays for eating inside. Plus they store in my rack that I made to hold the sink top.

Funny you should mention tv trays. Just picked up two yesterday for eating and use the 5 ft Walmart table for a picnic table. There has got to be a better set up for the rear half of the trailer. Another thought I have is removing one couch and moving the other across the rear. I have yet to use the screen anyhow so gate would be the back and hinge the seat off the sides.

I have a similar setup to rmac04401 but I did not move the mounts for the couches, but might in the future. I also hated the table! What a pain, never did find out how to extend and retract it without $#@ing with it for 5 miutes. I had an old fold up table so I threw out the mount for the table and installed the regular fold up table mounts, much better! I found out the cleats are not built to hold anything, which is why the table mount would support weight in the middle. I Put several 3" wood screws in, works great now! I mounted the extinguisher up higher. I put the table in sitting on the cleats, push it all the way back. Use the bottom cushions to make a L to the right, all the way back to the ramp. Then the backs, it is really comfy! I also have a couple of the gravity chairs, just like a recliner but much more portable.
