I think we had a scissor folding type frame like that on our Jayco Whitehawk bunkhouse we previously owned.....if it is, there was a yellow button you pushed or flipped and it released a locking mechanism....then you push side ways....ours always did better turned upside down....then try the folding process.....btw, we hated that style.

I was just about to comment on the fact that it appears to be begging to pinch, cut and maybe even remove fingers! LOL

Got 1 ;ike that in our 2703ws, and yes i hate it too but better half fold it up every time. Push the yellow button and it folds towards you and then down..Watch your fingers

On the Jayco, after crawling in the bench seats around the U-shape dinette and stumping and scraping toes all the time, I finally ordered two of the Sequoia Table Leg kits from Camping World and removed the scissor style frame.......worked much better and gave us more room under the table....when we traded the Jayco last October for our Silverback, changes I had made to the TT didn't mean much to the dealer so I took out the Sequoia legs and put back the original frame the way it came from the factory....sold the legs on this forum a couple months ago....btw, the top pic was not our TT, just one from a brochure.....ours was the bottom pic after we made the change.
