Parts from Forest River

Guys

I have a couple items for our 26RR that I would like to purchase and was wondering if anyone has done this.

I would like to get a price on one of the helmet shelves FR puts in the toy haulers to put on opposite wall of the existing helmet shelf. I would also like to purchase 1 more bench cushion for the back fold out bed so we don't have to use the contoured back cushions as part of the bed.

I know their not the best quality items, I could build as good or better and I could get a lounger cushion at home depot but.....I like the idea of them matching and looking original. That said, if the price is crazy, I will make something.

I am going to call my dealer but just thought I'd through it out to you all to see if anyone else has purchased OEM furnishings from their dealer, Forest river direct or ????

Thanks

I purchased two items from FR directly. The shipping was about the same as the item.
Fresh water tank about $86.00, shipping about $85.00. Two fender skirts, about $18.00, shipping about $19.00. They would not quote me shipping prices when I placed order, so beware.

I just spoke with the dealer we purchased the trailer and was told I can order parts like that but shipping and brokerage fees to Canada are outrageous apparently.
I was given a number for a company that will make custom cushions locally and my dealer said they look very good and at a fraction the cost. I think I'm SOL on the overhead cabinet/helmet carrier. May look into US prices and pick up when were down there. I really would like to keep the cabinets all the same through out the unit.

You might look on line at "the foam factory". I learned about them in another post. I have not tried them.
