Party deck add on

Having a forest river 27rr toy hauler built and can't wait for its arrival. But my question I have is the dealer asked me if I want to inclement a party deck. My question was do they put a more heavy duty door on what changes .if I get a more heavy duty door may be worth it.

We had our party deck standard and love it. Just picked it up this weekend. I don't know that the party deck makes the door heaven or just the fact that it's a toy hauler. Hitch weight is pretty high but we got a weight distrabution hitch and it pulls fine.

I read somewhere that the door is rated for 2-3000 lbs so I would guess it's the same with or without the party rails. We plan to get it on our 300x12.

The door as a party deck is rated at 1000 lb capacity in our 25v... The cargo or garage area is rated at 2000...if course yours maybe rated higher as it is a larger unit....

It's OK will see how much we use it it has pins so easily removed. I don't like the way it looks on inside when closed up.looks congested

We used our party deck exactly one time, before I pulled all the pins and put it in storage. First of all, it is very rare to find a campground spot long enough for our 41' fifth wheel, plus the F-350 long bed dually, plus having the ramp straight out, plus having room to park the 'toys' somewhere nearby. Secondly, it's a real pain to fold/unfold it when loading/unloading. Just MHO, but I would not get it again.

It takes up space when closed and the cable hangs in the seating area. Does not agree with what's going on now. Maybe later u will put back on

We pulled off our deck railing on our 29v as well. Didn't use it in over a year and it was a pain to deal with when loading & unloading the toys.

Anyone possibly interested in parting with theirs? Have been looking to build one but would rather not spend the time fabricating pieces if I could just buy someone's...

For any of you guys who removed the deck, any interest in selling the hardware (brackets, cable, etc). I really want to add this to my 24HFS but I'm having a hell of a time finding the hardware. Thanks.

^^^^^^ not sure if this is everything you're talking about but this looks to be pretty much all the brackets you need that you can buy new from Lippert...
