Great job Scot. I am having the same issue with a brand new toyhauler.
I visited our local Home Depot here in Canada and the largest they had was 4”X4” and they are special order.
If you are near your local Home Depot in the future and can obtain the SKU number and post it, it would be greatly appreciated.
If I have the SKU number it is a possibility that they can order it in for me.
Thanks.

LET THERE BE LIGHT!
Hey Gang; It's been a while since I posted (pimped my 19RR). Today I got brave enough to cut a hole in my door and install a window. I noticed that after 2010, FR no longer put the solid frosted glass windows in the 2011 and 2012. I found a window on Ebay that I got with shipping for under $50 (turned out it was slightly used... but that's OK), so here are some pictures of how I put it in. I took 8 pictures and they only let you post 4 per posting, so I will do this in two posts.
Here is what the door looks like on the 2012 19RR.
Then I marked where I needed to cut on the inside (aluminum side of the door). I was surprised that the difference in the outer frame and the hole you cut is only 0.75", or that you have 0.375" of overlap on each edge of the frame. The other lesson learned was I was surprised how hard it was to get the pencil marks back off the white aluminum door once I mounted the window where my construction lines went beyond the frame. I would have thought pencil would have erased off easily.
Then I put painters tape on either side of my cut line so that the vibration of my electric jig-saw didn't rub the paint off the door.
In the picture above you can see I drilled 4 holes, one in each corner with a drill with a metal bit larger in diameter than the blade on my jig-saw. This was so I had a few places to stick the blade of the jig-saw through to start cutting in any direction. I was surprised how thin both the aluminum and the fiberglass sheeting was in this door. Most of the thickness is just solid styrofoam. I guess they are not kidding when they say a mad grizzly bear could claw his way into your camper if he really wanted in!! Here is what the opening looked like once the hole was cut. This was when you start thinking "man, I hope I did not cut the hole too big!!!"
Well that's the first 4 pictures. I will continue on a new posting.
Tom

Next I took the inside frame of the window (the glass is mounted to the outer frame) and did a test fit to assure myself I did not mess up my door royally!
Fortunately the frame fit great, testing it on each side of the door. Then I took a tube of Silicone (GE RTV) and put a bead of RTV around the outer frame and the inner frame. Then putting both halves together, you simply screw in the 16 screws from the inside frame of the camper and that squeezed the RTV out around the frame
After cleaning up the excess RTV that squeezed out and adding some fresh RTV around the glass and the outside frame (I mentioned the window was used and I didn't want any leaks), this is what the outside of the door looked like when I was done
Mission accomplished. LET THERE BE LIGHT (or at least a little more). I felt this corner of the trailer was always dark if you had the door shut and the A/C on (something us Florida campers have to do most of the season). Now this is what it looks like from the inside with some light coming through the frosted glass.
Well, that's all for now. Keep up the pimping and keep posting those ideas!
Tom

P.S. This window is a 15" X 24" window, slightly larger than the typical 12" x 21" that I was looking at new. Probably not a big difference using either one... don't think you would want to go much bigger than 15 x 24 or you would not be leaving much door material on either side.

SWEET! Very nice work as usual Tom. The window in the door is on my list for next year. And of course "lessons learned" always help me grow more comfortable with cutting my door

Tom,
Why did you door come without a window? Is that now standard?
Looks like you did a great job adding a window after market!
Most impressive!

Hi Paula. Yes the 19RR comes standard now as a solid door (no window). I believe starting with model year 2010 or 2011 they stopped putting windows in the door. I think this is throughout the Cherokee Grey Wolf series and not just the 19RR. Probably a cost cutting measure (saves them money).

I've always been a little queezy around the waste tank and the best way to maintain and deal with it. This set up seems to be the best way to deal with all of that

Saw this on another thread and different forum and if you think about it, the changes are minimal but needed. the Handle that is on the gutter is wooden and thought that it might get some "liquid" on it and soak in. Here is the link to the other site. BTW Very Very nice mods!!! RV Sewer Hose Storage

Has anyone thought about adding a ball valve to the fresh water tank, low point drain pigtail?
It has a screw cap and when you dump the fresh water... you may not WANT to dump the whole tank , just some of the water...as if you may of over filled it. Just a pain in the butt to recap with the screw on cap.. also easy to lose the cap!
I can't imagine it would be that difficult to do. Anyone got any thoughts or suggestions?

I have thought about this. I will be looking into this in spring.
I would think it would be as easy as getting the proper diameter one of these,
