Replaced the white trim edge with black trim edge. The white was all cracked and broken so I bought black heavy duty to replace it.

Funny you should ask because I just received my bumper hitch from Amazon on Wed and it is on my to do list. I bought the Curt 19101. On Amazon it was listed at $59 but there was a used one listed for $47 with free shipping. I figured how bad could it be? I got it and it looks brand new. I'll post a pick later on today.

I'm not saying it will definitely happen to you- but my buddy got a bumper mount bike rack. He was happy as a clam until the night his wife texted me:
"Sitting by the side of the road while (husband) puts the bikes in the camper. Some car waved us down and said our bikes were dragging."
Turns out the whole bumper twisted. Not sure if its attachment points broke or what- I never looked. But he keeps the bikes in the truck now.

See page 40 of this post, Post #394, for what I did for a bike rack on the 19RR. About $60.00 for the rack at Wal-Mart.

Has anyone had any problems with their antenna not working or the cable outlets outside and by the bed not working?

Yes to all of the above. I took it to the dealer and they re-did all the connectors. That fixed it.
The only one that worked was the one at the antenna switch.

This is so frustrating. I have already had to have the roof replaced. After I took delivery I crawled up on the roof to install a bathroom vent cover and found a 5 inch gash in the rubber. I took it back to the dealer and they kept it three weeks. Now I just picked it up last week and the cable doesn't work anymore. The dealership is 5 hours away and I am spending a boatload of money in gas. GRRRRRRR

My DVD wasn't working. Took cable connection down from ceiling and found when they put it together they broke tab off cable . Had to run new 6' cable now it's all better.

If I have a problem I'm taking mine local as my dealer is over 100 miles from my home . Find dealer that can service yours closer to your home , that's what would suggest
Sam2581 ps if u can fix things yourself its a lot cheaper and faster than taking it anywhere lol

No problems here, but a common mistake is to use the amplifier when at a campground with cable TV. You proabably already know that, but I have been at campgrounds where there is cable and the people connect to the cable and turn on their amp and then complain about crappy signal.

that's the first mistake I made. The neighbor at the campground in South Carolina tipped me off about that. Ultimately, I still couldnt get a decent signal to the tv's, turned out all the cable ends were all crossed up and just bad.

Hey Jeffy, I'm in Powers Lake. Our 21rr served us well for hust over 2 years.
If you are interested, I have the entire drain hose storage thing I did and it doesnt work on my new unit.
Let me know, I'd sell it real cheap to get it off my garage floor....... you'd have to pick it up though.

Newbie here
Hello Everyone,
Just joined the forum and have found it to be very informative. Purchasing a New 2013 19RR for $14980, do you think that is a good price?
Also, are the electric brakes sufficient?
My tow vehicle is a Dodge Dakota 4X4, V8 with powerchip, tranny cooler, brake controller and weight Dist hitch do you think this will tow ok? My bike is a BMW K1200LT (850 lbs)
Any feedback is appreciated.
David

You should be fine with the Dakota. I had a sequoia and now a 5.7 liter Tundra. Though it pulls better the gas mileage when not towing (90% of the time) sucks - 12 mpg around town versus 14 with Sequoia. The Dakota will work harder while towing but the rest of the time (not towing) you will get better mpg.
. I have seen the 19rr go for $12900 stripped in 2011 for a 2012 to $17000 locally in Florida. Bought mine fairly loaded in 2011 for a 2012 for $13850 but I drove from Florida to Indiana to get that price.
