Added my extra stabilizer jacks. The one on road side was a PIA because of the gas line running down the side. I had to put spacers in between jack and frame so when the jack is fully retracted it's not rubbing on the gas lineClick image for larger version

Pimp my 26rr

Those are the ones that came with the camper. I noticed my camper had a few extra upgrades others did not get on their 2016. That's why we bought off lot and did not order one. Our dealer said he could not promise ordered one would come in like the one on lot. He said he could order 4 with same specs and each one would be a little different. I love our camper. A few more mods and it should be perfect.

Those new jacks are much more heavy duty than cheap stock ones.

Have you done the dance inside to check for better stabilization yet? Was wondering if an extra set would knock off some of the wobble factor.
Did you get the jacks from HF or order from someplace? I did see they have both the hex head and the chicken hook hand crank style.
Bolt on or use self tapping screws like OEM?

*******Yes we have first thing my DW did. Also putting this close to steps it prevent the movement when entering camper. Helped with movement quite a bit. Still little in bedroom but you really need to shake it.

********I orders from amazon. They were around $70 for pair.

********Just hex head. The set also came with hex driver for drill. Now have a spare.

TOO much information ~ LOL!!

I read on another person's thread where he used the extendable cargo bars (what goes across inside pickup beds) to help stop the dreaded wobble.
Placed one end against the stabilization jack and the other end up against the trailer fame and then tightened the ratchet.
Sorry, I don't remember the person's name ~ hopefully he'll chime in.

Nah, the little blue faces are directed to the portion I quoted of yours ~ ie. "the bedroom shaking". Was trying for a funny ~

The rest concerning the pickup cargo bars was it. Someone had used 1 at a campground, was so happy that he ran off to wally World and purchased 3 more to put under the trailer. Said the cargo bars were cheaper than normal installations and worked great. One at each corner, angled from the stabilizer jack up to the trailer frame and then tightened up.

Sorry for the confusion ~ must be the snow we got AGAIN this morning!!

When I bought my 26RR I wanted the electric stabilizer jacks, until I saw the price! I bought 2 sets of these: https://www.amazon.com/BAL-24830-Tel...abilizer+jacks And, I bought a Ryobi 18V Impact wrench, I already have the batteries. For about the price of one electric stabilizer jack I bought two of the manual ones and the impact wrench. And now I have a battery operated impact wrench! lol I can even use it for the tires on my truck. They where much better than the stock scissor jacks on movement. I also use the tire chocks you ratchet in, very little wobble now.

Ours came with the electric stabilizing jacks....I'm not that impressed. They are better than nothing, but not as good as the scissor jacks and a good impact drill.

My next mod is to get some JT stabilizers....most of the movement we have now is back and forth. That will probably come in the next month or so.

Yeah our dealer said when I looked at mine I asked about the electric and he said they were crap and he did not order any of the new ones he ordered with them.

He also said they were slow and you could deploy all four scissor jacks with a drill before deploying the electric stabilizers.

Plus just something else electric that can break.

Taped off the vents so that less air would go to the attic. Also taped off the fore and aft vent.....apparently there is more ducting after the end vents, so I fashioned a block and proceeded to tape the crap out of it. Seems like more air volume coming out of it now.

Huh?? We have an attic in the 26RR? Neat!!

I'd like to see the weight tickets for mxdad and rmac trailers going over the scales, would be a tight bet who's will be the heaviest mod adapted ~ LOL.
Meant in good humor guys ~

If his is like mine I found the bedroom vent and the rear vent but had ducting going off to no where. This allows a lot of leakage. Duct tape and cardboard fixes that.

Put together my new grill I got over winter.
Lookin' good and ready to go camping! Will the grill be on the quick disconnect propane line or separate bottle?

How'd you like that last little bit of winter? Got around 14" over this way, got to 49* today but the snow piles are still high everywhere.
Looks like more next weekend, will put off going for the trike until the 31st.
