Problem with propane supply

When I returned from my dealer having my 2019 22RR Cherokee Gray Wolf winterized for some unknown reason I had my unit running off my generator in the storage yard. The battery was still connected also. I couldn't get my stove top or oven to light? I had propane in both tanks and they were both turned on! When I called the dealer and asked about this he said it was possible that the regulator had gone bad? Is that possible or was he just giving me the "Run Around?" I took a tank that's on my BBQ Grill which worked before I disconnected it and went back to the storage yard and tried it on Both connections. Neither the stove top or oven would light! Can anyone give me a place to start to correct this? TIA (Thanks in Advance!)

If you open the valves too quickly it can shut off.

Try turning them both off then opening one at a time very slowly. If you here in gas flow stop there until the sound goes away then finish opening the valve

llr gave you good advice, but if that doesn't work, the dealer could be right. We've had several reports of regulator problems this year.

It's easy to replace the regulator if the dealer can't get to it quickly.

Check the battery with no Generator or shore power. Many times the dealer will connect the battery for lights and if not plugged in or disconnected after repairs, the parasitic draws will deplete the battery. If the battery is totally dead and power is provided to the converter, it can blow the reverse polarity fuses.

Even better if you loosen/remove the hose at each tank and bleed off the pressure before slowly opening the valves. The high-flow mechanism in the tank likes to see zero pressure outside the tank before it resets.

Surprised to see a failure on a regulator that new. They do fail a lot--it's rare to see one that makes it past 10 years--but that one's almost new.

This one is probably the one you're looking for.

Bad Regulator

Your dealer is probably correct. The regulator has probably gone bad. It’s very easy to replace it yourself. I had to do it on our Wildcat trailer. I ordered a new regulator from Amazon. All you have to do is to remove the existing one and hook up the propane hoses to the new one.
