Refrigerator

I have a 2017 Forest River Grey Wolf 22RR WITH A NORCOLD REFRIGERATOR.
WHEN i'M HOOKED UP TO THE ELECTRIC IN A PARK, I WOULD LIKE TO RUN THE FRIDGE ON GAS ONLY. BUT, TO TURN OFF THE ELECTRIC TO THE FRIDGE , I HAVE TO FLIP THE BREAKER OFF AND THAT TURNS HALF THE ELECTRIC OFF IN THE TRAILER. ANY SOLUTIONS ?

if on shore power why would you want to run on propane? have to isolate the fridge circuit to cut the power there and not the rest of camper to do what you want to do.

When writing in caps it's like shouting on forums . As far as Fridge you should be able to choose between electric or gas on the control panel along with auto change over . look for a button with a plug and flame symbol

Check in the panel outside where the fridge is (the vents for it) there might be the 120v plug you can pull out of an outlet there. That's how ours was. We ended up buying a control panel that had the gas only option. If you look up your model # and control board I think it was called we found our correct on.

Propane would be a lot cheaper to run it , than electric in California

There should be a button on the outside of the frig. Never seen an RV frig that wasn't setup this way. Usually a light next to it and sometimes controls for temp setting or sometimes those are inside on a slider near the fins.

Depending on the model, my norcol fridge did not have anything other than auto or off.
