Remove the rear dinette/bed in the 295?

Has anyone ever removed the dinette/bed (electric) in this fiver or any other? We never use it and would like to eliminate the weight. Would removal harm the integrity of the unit side wall construction? Suppose I sure call someone at FR. Thanks for any input or personal experience.

Made the mod. We easily removed the dinette/bed, but, left the base platform in place. This does give us more options on utilizing the space after any toys are removed. Also, reduced weight by about 200#s.

Dang, Milzat, you are encouraging me to go through that picture posting process again, aren't you? Well, I do need the practice!

Hey, once you learn to do it, you won't be able to stop yourself.
