screen for 19rr or 21rr

Does anyone know where you can buy a screen for the cargo door? I am assuming the 19rr and 21rr would be the same. Also, I thought I had seen instructions once about making a rear sreen for the cargo door. If anyone knows of this perhaps you could tell me where to find it. Thanks.

Coupla different ways to go. We went the cheap way. Went and bought some screen material and an expandable curtain rod and some stick on velcro. Total outlay was about $20. Wife hemmed up the edges after measuring the opening, then sew'd a loop at the top for the expandable rod and BINGO - instant door netting. Stuck the velcro on the edges of the inside door moulding and it keeps out the skeeters.

We prop up the back door like a patio, throw a couple of lawn chairs out there and watch the sunset!

NOW - If you go to the Pimp my 19rr thread and page through all the pages, you'll be a droolin moron by the time yer done. (I was) Yeah - its that good of a thread!

I am having one built as we speak. I bought some heavy duty screen material. I think it was called Petscreen. I took it down to the local uphoustry shop and he is sewing it up for me. There will be snaps every 1ft or so. It will snap onto the inside framework.

Hey Y'all,

Okay so in May 2010 we had a "Phantom" retractable screen put in on out back ramp (photos to follow later). Really wasn't that expensive ($150 bucks?) and they came to us and installed it! AWESOME. We love it...use it every chance we get.

Okay so now I am making a clear vinyl plastic roll up/down shade. That we can have the ramp door open and the A/C on or if it's winter and a little cool... keep the warm air in. I am almost finished with the project... in the "fitting" stage now. I will post photos later...and let you know how well this project has worked out.

Considering the cost....less than $40.00 total ( materials purchased at my local Wallly-mart)....and my time (about 1/2 day) this could be a good investment.

STAY TUNED!
P.S. go to "pimp my 19rr" thread!

Did you ever post the pictures for the roll up plastic shade? Maybe I missed them, but I think I've checked most threads in this forum
