Solved- How can I disable my tongue jack?
I have a 21rr and set it up at our local reservoir. I don't plan to stay there for a couple of days so it will be unattended. When I was leveling it I got to thinking anyone could walk by and flip the swith on the tongue jack and probably run it all the way to one of the extremes and break something. So now I'm wondering which breaker would disable the tongue jack? Anyone know? I would think the 21rr and 19rr and 25rr are probably the same.

There should be a fuse somewhere in the line between the jack and the battery. If nothing else, just remove or unhook the battery and the shore power.

Really, like suggested- find the fuse and remove it.
You oughtta know where it is anyway.
What if it blew and you were stuck with no way to hitch up/unhitch?
Find the fuse!
Sorry I don't know where it is. My jack is pure muscle powered

I was thinking the exact same thing this past weekend. You could always install a switch within the circuit for this purpose. Even hide it so it isn't easily found.

While you are away for (2) days are you going to worry about someone turning off or unpluging the S/P. I dont think your battery will carry the refrigerator and other devices for two days. They could even let the air out of the tires, with your stabilizers down, and bending your main frame. It is hard to protect from everything. Youroo!!

If you had a manual jack, how would you disable that? As stated, can't protect from everything. The fuse or breaker for the jack may be in the battery box. Most jacks have their own wire connected to the battery. Could disconnect the power wire for the jack.
Quit worrying, and enjoy.

Put a 5 gal pail over it and not only will it protected from the sun/rain but it will keep curious fingers away.

Comfun, is this an LCI power jack?
If so, then I agree with the others that you take out the fuse if you want to disconnect it. I've never had a problem at a CG, but that doesn't mean you can't be concerned with it.
If its an LCI (which is common OEM) than the 30A fuse is located by following the RED power wire beneath the jack. Its a 30A ATO-type fuse.

Comfun, your profile says you have a 1986 Motorhome, what year is your TT? If your TT is older ,and in the sun,the wire going to the Batt. could be orange. Youroo!!

My TT is 2012 21rr Grey Wolf and I found the fuse. It was right under my nose. I pulled it out and the terminals are covered in white powder which I am guessing is corrosion. Would dielectric grease be a good idea for this?

Dialectic grease will help. If you want you could wire a battery disconnect on the wire coming from the jack. You would then only have to switch off the disconnect. The pail over the top works great. It keeps the water off the jack. I have put a clamp on the inside that I attach the 7 way plug to. It keeps the plug off the ground and prevents water from getting into the plug. I clip my safety chains to the handle of the pail to hold it in place.

I'd put a battery cut off switch on the battery box. Connect the ground wire through the switch. Switch off--no connection & nothing works.

Nothing works-- includes the refrigerator!
Everyone should have a battery cutoff switch but in this thread we're talking
about disabling a power tongue jack.
Good that he found the fuse!
I -hate- hidden fuses! At least this one has been located

He could add a battery cut off switch to the jack. It would cut off the power going to the jack but allow everything else to work off the battery.

I agree with most - just remove the inline fuse. That ain't exactly fool-proof, though, if someone really wants to lower your tongue, they'll put another fuse in it. Like others said, you can't protect from everything.
