Some annoying streaks

Have some annoying looking streaks coming down the front of my 26rr..anyone have any idea what causes it or how to remove? They are not the "black streak" type.. these almost seem white...roof stains?

Sounds like you need to clean and treat your roof to prevent those streaks. Then use a cleaner/wax on your trailer. Meguiars has a whole line just for gel coat. Protectall has a good rubber roof cleaner/conditioner.

Every trailer air conditioner I've had always leaked water onto the roof but I've never had any roof damage, other than discoloration. Running the AC will always generate water.

If you have used roof cleaner then some of it will have flowed down the front cap. Depending on the type of cleaner (Dawn is about the worst) the overflow, usually in the form of streams of water/solution, will degrade or even remove wax from the cap surface. Where the wax is removed it will appear to be streaks. Sorta like waxing just part of the area. The unwaxed part will not be the same display as the waxed area. It's most noticeable when viewed at an angle.

Going to further check on products to remove.. have put no products on the roof, A/C has the normal runoff.. usually in the side troughs... there are only 4 streaks showing...they almost look like hard water stains.

Being in Waterloo Region myself I can attest to hard water. I have noticed the brine/ salt spray combo is causing discolouration on my old old Rookwood parked beside hwy 8. Others in our storage lot note the same. I found no amount of cleaning fully removed the streaks.

This along with being in the Ohio Valley all the pollution from coal fired plants causes a lot of acid rain.

My new trailer is getting a cover all winter to help prevent this.

All the best!!

Rub your hand over the roof membrane, if it comes off with white residue then your roof has oxidized and just needs cleaning and conditioning. I know your rig is newish, but at about 2 years from manufacture was when we started noticing white streaks down the sides and front of ours. Cleaned and conditioned roof and they haven't been back. The streaks came off easily with a good wax job. Let us know what works with yours.
