I would like to know as well. The ones on the 26RR are terrible. I use my Bluetooth speaker instead of the outside ones. I can't stand to listen to them.
It’s a goofy size. Listed on etrailer as a 4.5 inch I think, but it’s not. I replaced one of the blue ones on my 17rp because I popped it (my fault). The depth is very shallow. The sides are courigated aluminum with plywood backing. There is 12 volts going to the speaker for the LED’s. I looked for a replacement/upgrade, but nothing will drop in, plus you will need a gasket or some caulking to seal the gaps where the speaker meets the siding. I replaced it with a factory original.
It really blows my mind that they put such crappy speakers in there. I too, just use a BT speaker as the factory speakers sound horrible. I’ve been meaning to look into replacing them. There has to be a marine grade speaker on the market that sounds better than the factory ones.
