Storing toy in toyhauler

Just wondered if anyone leaves their rzr or other toy in their toyhauler when not being ridden? Does anyone see anything wrong with this?

I don't store my Harley in the TH but do keep it inside an enclosed utility trailer (FR brand). The big advantage is the bike stays clean. No dust or moisture ever collects. I'm sure the same thing would be the case keeping it in the toyhauler.

I just put my jet ski in the garage of my hauler for the long winter here in Buffalo. I don't see any problem with it.

The only downside I could see is if the tires lose pressure due to air temperature and you could potentially end up over capacity of the tires. I don't know enough about trailer tires to tell you if overloading a non moving tire is a problem for the future or not though.

In the 5 years I have owned a toy hauler I always store my Harley in it for the winter. Never had a problem.

I sometimes leave my '49 Chevy in mine. The only precaution I take is I have a battery disconnect switch because it will be impossible to jump off and it's added security in the event something electrical happens to the truck while inside. (peace of mind)

I have the Spyder stored in the Vengeance 29V awaiting the trip to Florida in late January. Power on and battery tender hooked up.

I have no toy hauler....but if I stored any thing very heavy in there I would want to block/jack stand the frame....but then I can't imagine how it would be harder on it than bouncing up and down the road.

Most toy haulers have beefier frames and more useful load than comparable non hauler models. Even with my 1,000 pound Harley loaded I'm still 2,000 pounds under max trailer weight. Loaded or not I still have the six stab jacks set.

Good tip on the jacks, I never thought about putting them down. I will be doing that today. I just winterized yesterday.

I put the jacks down too for the winter. Jet ski in, trailer tires on boards, jacks down on boards, "Bertha" is in full hibernation mode until spring.

I store two quads in mine during riding season. The only issue I've had is discoloration of the floor where two brand new tires sat for a couple of weeks. The old tires never left a mark.

I take the quads out during the summer season so I can leave the tables and chairs set up for campground camping. Best of both worlds.

I store two dirt bikes in mine all the time. I only haul one at a time however. I traded in my 6x12 enclosed trailer for this 17' Toy Hauler so it must do the same duty and also give me a place to camp when out riding.

I do run the gas out of the carbs first and leave the jacks down. I have put in a rubber interlocking floor so no worries on stains.

I store my RZR and a Hybred buggy in mine year round and so far no problems. As for the tires marking the floor I had put runners down under the tires to keep that from happening. However I have the Coin style flooring in my W&P and it is a PITA to clean if any residual mud or anything drips on it. This past year I broke down and bought a roll of vinyl flooring and cut it to the size of my complete cargo area and am very glad I did. It is so much easier to sweep out and mop.

Did you remove the coin type flooring or go right over it?

I just laid the vinyl over the coin flooring. I wanted to be able to remove it if it didn't work out plus I can take it out and power wash it off if I need to.
