Thinking about 26RR and adding a wall?

I've been looking long and hard at getting a toy hauler. he only things in our needs, weight and price range is the Coleman 300TQ and 26RR. I like the 27RR's divided garage but hate the main bed setup. The 26RR has the separate bedroom, but, the garage is part of the living area.

How hard is it to add a wall inside of a travel trailer, or better yet, a patio door/glass wall? I would only ever be hauling 3 dirtbikes at the most so I don't need the giant garage, nor do I want the dirt and smell getting into the main living area.
It strikes me as not being too difficult, has anyone else here done this mod?

Sounds like a lot of work to get what you want when there's so many different models out there. Have you looked at the units with the exterior garage?

I'm not a fan of the exterior garage for a few reasons.
1 protecting toys from thieves and weather
2 you can only use deck as toy hauling, not a shady hangout or anything else.

The only smell I have in my 26RR after hauling my two muddy Atv's is the smell of campfire which is alright with me. I don't camp with them in there I lock them with a cable outside to the camper frame. Works great with an open layout in the rear for us as it makes it feel much bigger with the front bedroom being separate.

Understandable.

Step up to the Wolf Pack, I love my 25pack12, separate garage. Much bigger unit than the 26RR though.

The 25pack12 looks very nice, however, weight is the main issue for me.
With the 26RR at GVWR I have about 2000lbs of towing capacity left. This is good as it gives the headroom that is always a good idea when towing.

The 25pack12 is 1000lbs heavier unloaded than the 26rr is fully loaded. Thats why I cant step up.

When I first started looking at this site I had a Chevy 1500 and was looking at the 26RR. Fast forward to 6 months later and I had the Duramax 2500 and the Wolf Pack on order. We like to spend other people's money here.

Before loading the toys and gear in the back of our 26RR, I roll out an 11' piece of this:

RB Rubber Multi-Mat Rolled Rubber, 1/4 in. Thick, Sold by the Foot - For Life Out Here

to protect the floor and help keep it clean. It also helps keep items secure and not moving around during travel.

After unloading, I roll it up and usually keep it on the tongue of the trailer behind the LP tank cover.

Once the toys are out of the way, you have a huge, flexible space that you can use/configure in many different ways

Fuel smell has not been a problem. The 26RR has two vents on the side that can be kept open while traveling. One is on the right side behind the entry door toward the top and the second is on the left side near the very back.

WIth the 26RR, the separate bedroom with walk around bed, full width bathroom, and being half ton towable is a great combination. It just so happened that not having a slide and having aluminum siding were two other preferences that we were appealing to us.

I have the 26rr and really love it. I did lots of mods. Can see it under pimp my 26rr. Did not put wall in but did do lots of mods. My motorcycle is 8'3" long so the front tire comes up by the sink. So wall to make separate garage would not work.

The only issue I see is boondocking and not being able to use living area but most time we are just boondocking to sleep. We still can use bathroom, stove and sink and easy access to bedroom. Click image for larger version
