Want to change tv mount

I have a 2014 wolf pack 28wp and want to mount an articulating tv mount in the place of the "V" mount. The articulating mount weighs about 4 lbs and the tv weighs about the same. I'm unsure if the backer could support the weight of this. Has anyone else mounted something like this? Plus the bolts that come with this mount are 2" long.

I have a 27rr and was faced with the same problem. There was a cabinet behind my v bracket and I could see there was a piece of 5/8" plywood backer about six inches square. I removed the backer and replaced it with one that went from the top of the cabinet to the bottom of the cabinet and a bit wider than the original, also it was 3/4" plywood. I had to buy bolts that were the correct length. The bracket and television have endured over 3,000 miles now.

Unfortunately, the shower is behind our wall. Not sure what I'm going to do just yet. Thanks for the reply.

I opened mine up last night. Based on what I found, the backer board would definitely not work for that mount. Fortunately for me, I can get behind it so that I could put in reinforcement and screw those two inch bolts into a 2X4. I doubt I'll mount the TV in the bedroom for the same reason.
