Water Filter?? Grey Wolf 19RR
Does anyone know if my unit comes with a water filter (factory installed)??
It is a 2011 new unit. IF this unit does not have one preinstalled, what recommendations/ how / where to install advice to you have.

Can't tell you if your unit has an internal filter or not. If it does it would likely be near the city water input somewhere.
Either way, if you want to use an external filter, here's what mine looks like. I bought the filter and bracket at Camping World. It's removable so it can be stowed while traveling.

I looked at the FR website and your unit doesn't list a water filter as a standard or optional feature. I find that hard to believe.

Call the dealer that sold it to you and ask them. We added an inline water filter attached to the water hose. Inexpensive and easy to get. You can get one at Home Depot or Walmart or camping Works...cost about $25 bucks. Has worked well for us! We also have a PUR water filter pitcher we us...got it at wally to! Good luck and have fun! Looking forward to hearing about your adventures.

There are no health benefits in carbonated water. Yes flavored water (carbonated or otherwise) doesn't have sugar so has fewer calories but then plain water doesn't have sugar calories either. Carbonation can have it's own negative health issues - including calcium loss from bones. Artificial flavors can pose problems for some people - a recent double blind study of artificial flavors added to children's juice boxes showed >60% had behavior problems (think of all the artificial colors and flavors in schools and is there any wonder there are more behavioral problems??)
Anyway, home carbonating water and adding flavor may be a good way to disguise water and perhaps it's a better choice for some than full on sugar soda products but nope there aren't health benefits.
