where can i store the sewer hose on my 5er toy hauler?

spring time is here and i am getting my cherokee wolfpack toy hauler ready to roll. i just purchased the camper over the winter, so i am still getting to know my way around it. one thing i just noticed is i dont have is a hose to drain my black/gray tanks. i checked all over the camper to make sure it didnt have one with it... i cant even find a place to store one! does anyone have any creative ideas for me here.....

I got a "package" w/ my dealer that included a "beginner" hose and connectors with the purchase of the trailer.
As for storage, you should have, outside, under the back portion of your trailer, a white tube that runs laterally that should have an unscrewable opening on the passenger side of your trailer. That tube is for storage of your black/grey water hose. Empty Black first, then grey to "flush" system. If you're at the dump station, dump black, then grey, then flush hose w/ non-potable H20.
Trust me - the one from the dealer ain't nuthin to write home about, but it works for dumping tanks at the dump-site at the campground.
Hope this helps.

Parts stores like Camping World sell a round plastic tube with mounting brackets to bolt to the frame of your trailer. Personally I have two. A short one for the 10' hose I use the most and a longer one for the 20' hose for those long runs I encounter from time to time.

If you have the 4 inch square rear bumper...that's the storage. It will have totally useless caps on each end, just take a cap off...slide the hose in the bumper. Those stack caps fall out easily...Camping World sells one that kind of pops in.

i have no rear bumper because my rig is a toy hauler. i was actually just looking at some of those tubes on camping world. i dont know which length i will need though. i just ordered a drain hose from walmart (cheapest place i could find it)......however, i cannot find the specs on the hose. thus, i dont know what length tube i will need.

That is the same hose I have, it is an expanding hose, kind of like the old crazy straws. Collapsed it is about 5', expanded about 15'. It just barely fits into my 4" tube bumper and will NOT fit with those cool little closure caps on it. The adapter on the end that adapts the terminus 90 into the sewer will not fit in there either. I like it, works well, easy clean out and it is very sturdy and well made with nice heavy end pieces.

i was afraid the hose wouldnt fit in standard storage that most other hoses do. i have highlighted a line in the post your wrote above. what do you mean buy the "closure caps?"

im thinking i will just have to wait to until i get the hose, take some measurements, brainstorm a little bit, and come up with something. i like the idea this guy used Moved the Sewer Hose , but i would like to keep a little cleaner look. i would have to fabricate something that is mostly out of sight.

Hello Bocephus,
Don;t waste you money on the "starter" hose... get a Rhino-flex! So worth the $$$... no thin floppy hose...works soooo well... you will be very happy.. I promise you. RHINO-flex BY Camco... can get at Camping world or Amazon (online).
