Wolf Pup 17RP LTD Hitch Height?
Going to save several grand going next state over to purchase our camper, If anyone with this model (with bigger tire package) can measure hitch height I'd be very greatfull.
Want to drive it home all nice and level on its maiden voyage, my Air Ride will level the TV so should be pretty easy for me to figure out what receiver to buy before we hit the road at the end of the month.. I'm pretty sure the one I have already is too low and I didnt think to measure this when I was checking em out locally.

Most dealers will do the hook up for you and ensure everything is safe and legal.

I dont trust dealers to make me 'safe and legal', especially after they showed me travel trailers way too large for my TV.. by the time I'm hooking up and pulling away they have all my money and wont be seeing me again.. plus the'll probably have some huge adjustable monstrosity and charge me 2x what amazon would..
Kinda prefer to have a fixed hitch with a welded ball, extra security for the toys in the toy hauler.. but with this setup yeh gotta get the drop/rise right because nothing is adjustable.

What vehicle are you going to be towing it with. The hitch weight is pretty light. My fj only drops a tiny bit with it, I think two inches at the ball and with no weight distribution. With the equalizer e2 hitch it tows very well. You’re right about the dealers, they set my hitch up all wrong. I spent a whole day adjusting everything to make it right. They didn’t even tighten up the angle adjuster bolt on the bottom. Here’s a pic of my fj hooked and it tows it very well. If I had to estimate, I’d say the tongue weight is around 350 - 400 lbs unloaded but with a full tank of water. I do plan on getting a tongue scale in the near future though.

My Audi Q7 w/Air Ride will be the tow vehicle, it will automatically level out the vehicle when loads are put on it.
With your trailer level, how high is the hitch coupler off the ground?

Pretty sure it was 23.5” but I’ll double check when I get home.

Oi, this is why I'm glad I find this out early.. Looks like I'll need a rising hitch, IIRC my receiver is ~18in.

Here’s a pic of my trailer with my trailer level when I measure it from the ground to side.

doh nevermind, I need a ~3in lift + 2.5in for ball height (18+3+2.5=23.5).. thats not bad, is it a 2in coupler/ball or a 2 5/16in?
