Wolfpack 23+15 questions
Hello again all,
So it's nice and we went out to really go over our brand new Wolfpack. First thing I don't know about is the happy jack bed system. So under the sofas are these four legs and they aren't remotely lined up at the bottom. When I run the sofa all the way down the legs cause the center section to hump way up. I tried to adjust the legs up by unbolting and changing holes but then they don't touch with sofa all the way down . Anyone have any guidance? I'm wondering if maybe you aren't supposed to run the sofa all the way down until the motor stops and you just lower it until it's low enough and leave it there? The legs won't touch and it will primarily be hanging from the chain system. Pics attached
Second question, we found it much more comfy to move the teddy bear mattress down to the sofa for people that sleep there. I wanted to find another one so I don't have to move it each time. The bed up top came with a teddy bear bunk mattress that is 60*90 and I cannot find that size one anywhere. Is this a proprietary size?
Last, I would love to see how those of you with newer toy haulers and Wolfpacks are storing things inside for storage. Our old one had a great tie down system on the walls to strap stuff in.
Thanks for any help.

I have not yet but plan on getting a King Size (76"x80"x4") Serta Memory topper Like I have on the queen bed in the bedroom and cutting it down to 60" width. Then I can put it above the top matress when we are using the lower section as a couch and bring it down to put on the couch when it will be used as a bed when we have need for more than 2 beds
Last, I would love to see how those of you with newer toy haulers and Wolfpacks are storing things inside for storage. Our old one had a great tie down system on the walls to strap stuff in. I strap as much as I can on the golf carts rear fold down deck like bag chairs, cooler, Dog Bed, etc. and anything tall or flat like a folding table I strap to the drivers side couch as I travel with the couches vertical along the walls.

Thanks sir as always. You've helped me a ton so far. So when you lower your sofas I assume your fold out legs don't touch the floor? I was afraid that would bend something as I figured the legs were meant for something. So they are more of like an overload design?
I figure we will add a mattress topper too, I was surprised to see that the teddy mattress was 90" long. I wasnt sure how well a 80 long topper would work. Obviously you lose some length but I don't see a 90 long anywhere
We won't always have our toy in the back but the couch idea I was pondering. Good to know that's working out for you.
Thanks as always.

P.s. isn't the queen 60*80? Curious why you buy the king and cut it down to 60?
Thanks again

Oh we will for sure hopefully this year. I'm down .
Just so Im clear, when you lower your sofas then I assume your fold out legs don't touch the floor? I was afraid that would bend something as I figured the legs were meant for something. So they are more of like an overload design?

To be honest, I never folded them down to check yet. It's only been one person sitting on a sofa at a time and it didn't seem like that was a problem so I didn't fold them down. I'll experiment once I get the camper cleaned out from winter project mode and ready for let's get ready to load mode and let you know.

Mine look the same and the legs are fold out and adjustable for height. I can use them with the couches (beds) lowered all the way down if I choose. Mine is a WolfPack 24pack14+

So yours don't all hit the ground then when you lower them and fold them all out? They are all uneven? Thanks

I lower the couches all the way down, fold up the seat back temporarily, fold out the legs and adjust length as needed, then fold the seat back down to make a bed. I just did it a couple of times, as we generally use the couches as seats only, but it works as I've described.

Mine have the typical spring button / button hole in sliding tube adjustment.

Mine have a push button to swing them down but there is two bolts you have to remove to adjust up and down. You can see one in the pic.

Well the bed stuff is all taken care off. I found that the sofa also wasn't going up all the way on one side thus not putting pressure on the top bunk to allow me to take the pins out. I disassembled the left side and changed the location of where the sofa mounted on the chain up one notch. All is well now.
New found issue. The dealer said I have am inverter so the residential fridge would run on battery. As of now I cannot get it to run on battery. Everything else will. Any insight into a switch or anything I need to hit?
Cincygus, does yours run on battery? I was very clear I wanted this and they were clear that they checked and it had the inverter to do it.

Ok so I located the inverter under the bed. It does have a power switch that says it should be in the outward position for remote operation. I went ahead and pushed the power button in and it powered up and the fridge came on. I see I have a second red/greed kill battery switch near the bed and now when I turn that, it kills connection from battery to inverter. So is that how it was supposed to be? Leave inverter power button on and use the battery connection switch near the bed to kill it when I don't need it? And turn it on when I'm not on shore power?
Thanks all.

If you enable the battery disconnect switch (turn it to disconnect), you will not get shore power to your batteries for charging if that matters to you. Also if you have an onboard generator, the same thing applies. At least that's how it is on my 24pack14+.

I have two. Looks like this one near the bed is just for the inverter.

Interesting...do you have an onboard generator? I would think running a residential fridge on 110V thru an inverter would drain your batteries rather quickly!

It's setup for an onboard but one isn't installed.
