2014 Sunseeker Full body paint issues

Not sure whether this is "normal" for a full body painted RV, since this is our first painted one, but we keep having problems with cracking and bubbling. Bought it new two years ago, and had a section of the roof repainted under warranty as there was cracking (since it was painted over the caulk). Over the winter, we've developed a number of major cracks all around the side door and some compartments, and bubbles (filled with water) on the cab doors. I've tried to apply clear sealant to prevent water enter through the cracks, but cracks keep appearing. Is this something to expect, and is so, any suggestions to manage it?

Never thought this expensive of a paint job upgrade would result in so many ongoing issues.

You may want to take your rig to a professional/custom paint shop and ask them what would cause this. The bottom picture with the bubbles also appears to have the 'orange peel' effect.

I get those cracks also, but not a much. Mine are along the rear molding. I just paint over it with the touch up, sometimes giving it a few coats. But mine are only a few inches. No bubbling!

If you paint over a flexible sealant then you will get have that happen. Paint is not flexible! If the pic. you showed with the bubbles, that looks like the fiberglass running boards, and that ciuld be bad prep.

I have full body paint on my 2017 Forester. I can already tell there will be issues where the silicone sealant was painted over. Can anyone explain why they can't seal the coach after it's painted?

You would have an outline in white around any opening around the seam. Don't make Custom Colored Sealant. Sticks and bricks are different!

My 2014 Solera has had issues with the paint chipping away on all the seams/ molding( along with rubber molding shrinking and expanding . I live in a very dry climate and have assumed that this does this because it was assembled in a more humid environment.

The reason you are having these issues is that the unit was improperly prepped and painted. The joints were siliconed then painted over.
Any painter will tell you this. My unit is having the same issues. First time it took it out. Factory first denied claim, then came up with several half assed solutions. I brought it back to them and they promised to repair ALL the ares showing and the ones that just haven't cracked yet. I even had the corporate guy over this brand look at it. I was also told during the factory tour that they had many like this and they fired everyone responsible.
So I got the unit back. They only did half and it looks like crap. Didn't repair it the way I was told they would. The areas that weren't cracked were when I got it back.
Now I have an atty they agreed to a settlement and are now trying to back out of it. Around 20$ to do it right. Don't let them do the half assed fix.

I'm happy to give y'all my attys info. Send me a PM

Full paint initially looks nice, but I am questioning whether or not it is a real benefit.
