We sometimes just rent a car where ever we end up going. You know Enterprise picks you up.

Best small vehicle for towing 4 wheels down with class c Rv

Ended up buying a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara to tow behind our Freelander 28QB. Probably overkill but got a good deal.

Installed a Blue Ox tow bar and baseplate. Has been working well.

I no longer wonder whether the toad is secure behind me as I did when I was towing a Camry with a tow dollie. Not cheap but you get what you pay for sometimes.

Adds the option of off roading to our travels.

Towing Vehicles

We towed a 2010 Honda Fit with automatic for almost 10,000 miles without a problem. The motor home didn't even know it was back there. It only weighed 2500 pounds. A comfortable towed is important because we put more miles on it then we did on the motor home. We would still have it except for the accident we have. We now have a 2014 Honda CRV set up for towing but haven't tried it yet.

We just bought a new Fiat 500 last week and are having it hooked up next week! Seems like the best solution. We thought about a Jeep or CRV but decided they were too heavy for us. Also, we already have a Fiat 500 and love it! We did have to buy the manual as our first one is automatic. Hope they meet up to all our expectations!
Enjoy!

I bought the tow package when I bought my motorhome. It was part of the package I haggled with the dealer. For $800 less you could buy the tow bar and breaking system and install it yourself. I would recommend having someone experienced install it though. I would try and get two more quotes.
