cable tv changeover

I have a forester 2941, it has the cable tv hookup in the rear compartment. where do I unplug the antenna and plug in the cable? probably a simple switch I haven't discovered yet!

Well now that is an interesting question! Mine is still locked down for a couple more weeks, but I'll check when I get into it... I assume they use a simple junction block to allow either to be used, but can't say for sure.

If it's like most hookups you just turn off the power to the antenna amplifier.

I agree. There should be a switch on the main hookup. A red LED indicates power to the signal amplifier. Move the switch and the LED will go out. The amp turns off and passes the cable through un-hindered. If you leave it on it REALLY jacks with the cable signal.

Not quite sure what you're asking. I wouldn't think you'd have to un-hook the antenna to hook up the Cable.

If you mean the Cable(in) connection, most Cable/Satellite connections on the exterior of the RV are similar to the photo above. One side will be for Cable(in), and the other side will be for Sat(in).
