Check your caulking

I check my roof a couple times a year for any problems that might occur at the seams and around vents and air conditioner. I even went around the perimeter with the eternabond tape as an extra precaution.
I did neglect one area because I think I focus so much on keeping the roof from leaking. We're on our second trip of the year and woke up to water streaming down down the kitchen floor at the cabinet area. ( 2015 3010) my first thought was either from the fridge or the hot water heater. After a lot of searching I couldn't find exactly where it was coming from. Actually my wife noticed some water on top of the hot water heater. I went outside and found the caulking that seals the hot water heater was very thin and cracked at the top. It was raining all night and was coming in from there.
This is just a reminder to not only keep an eye on your roof, but anything that has caulk on it. Would have saved me an hour of crawling around behind the drawers looking for a leak!
