Christmas in Las Vegas

I am planning on spending a week in Las Vegas for Christmas and am seeking suggestions on camping in or around Las Vegas. Thanks in advance because I have come to trust all of your suggestions.

If you like gorgeous scenery and a natural setting:
-Close to Vegas, but no services - check out Red Rock Canyon.
-Further out (~50 Miles, about an hour) is Valley of Fire. Website says some sites with water and electric. Believe we boondocked.

We loved Valley of Fire. Have gone out of our way to spend a night or two there. Campsites right in the gorgeous formations!

Red Rock Canyon itself is also spectacular, but note the campground is not in the canyon. Across the highway and a few miles towards Vegas from the Canyon, as I remember.

Lots of options for more urban camping near and in Vegas.

In Vegas itself, Oasis is the RV park that most of my friends prefer. I "slummed" it in the Thousand Trails park because the price was right ($0/night).

Oasis is a great 'resort' type park, with pools and hot tub, pull thrus, backins, etc..and gated - the noise is minimal and no hotels are right next to you where noise would be much of a concern. While it's right off the 'strip', it's a short drive into the 'action', if you like that.

There is, though, also a very niche 'parking lot' type rv park right 'uptown' near Freemont street, called Main Street Station RV Park... an option if you want to be right near the action, and walking distance for many activities.

Of course, there's the famous CircusCircus RV Park, right on the strip, and right there to walk to all of the strip action...but it's fairly noisy, and a lot of traffic right around the park.

Look at a google map search with the term 'Rv park' over the LasVegas area, and you'll find actually MANY options...

If you want a first class rv resort look at Las Vegas Motorcoach Resort (class A's only). Opposite side of the highway from Oasis RV resort. Also the most expensive.

As already mentioned...the Oasis is a very nice place!

I was there in 2016 for a week attending an RV rally and had a great time!

Here are a couple shots of my 5'ver there...
