Forester vs Sunseeker part x

I did a google search
found lots of discussion on this ....
but mostly on 30 feet models ....

I`m looking for a 24 feet model
like forest river forester 2251SLE
or 2301 .....

I read that the forester was more a deluxe edition then the sunseeker
recessed lights , invisible hinges , skirt paint ,etc...
the 2013 ,2251SLE I went to see dint have those features ....
......................
beside these , are they the same ? ( 24 feet )
my friend has a sunseeker 2300
says he has thermos windows, heated reservoirs .....are these optional ? <

............
Do all the forest river have the fibergass roof ?

thank you ,
I need sound advice .........

The Sunseeker and Forester are produced on the same assembly line using mostly the same components. The Forester is marketed as more upscale. The best comparison I can give you is to think Chevy versus Buick or Ford versus Mercury. Same basic products just a bit more bling in the upscale versions.

You can download the Forester brochure Here. The Sunseeker brochure is Here. Download them and compare and you'll see there isn't a lot of difference. The available options, shown in the brochure, on a Sunseeker can make it very comparable to a Forester but it won't have some of the bling features. Both brands have fiberglass roofs...

We chose to buy a Sunseeker as that is the line the dealer I wanted to use carries. Having the right dealer was more important to me than some trim differences...

X3!
Looked at a Forester at a dealer 2 1/2 hrs away. Fairly decent price. Went back to the dealer I had previously dealt with.... Got the same unit in the Sunseeker line and saved over $5K.
Yep, dealer makes the difference.

I kinda wanted the extra features on the Forester back in 2014. Don't think the differences are as significant now.

So saw what I wanted on the lot in April at a decent price. After lengthy negotiations the dealer wouldn't move a penny, no flex in the price at all, so I walked. Too bad they didn't do a better job sales tracking because come July I saw on the web that they lowered the price $4500 below what I offered in April. Of course I tried to get more off the lower price too but no luck. Bought it over the phone right then!

Really happy with the price we got and love our Forester.
