Fueling a REV or any Dodge ProMaster chassis
Some, including myself, had experienced difficulty filling the gas tank with gas. The pump will usually cut off when the tank is only 3/4 full.
One guy says to turn the nozzle upside down which he says helps; I am not sure how he fit the nozzle into the filler tube.
This is what I have learned. I usually get gas at COSTCO which has high speed pumps. The ProMaster can not take on gas fast enough with these pumps. I now turn the nozzle so the business end points to about the 8 O'Clock position and I try to throttle down the pump speed. I was able to get a full tank today and on my last visit.
I bought my REV in New Jersey and they do not have self service and the pumps there seem to be much slower. My salesman says they never had a problem fueling a ProMaster chassis.
So to get a full tank, pump slow and maybe turn the nozzle to the side.
Hope this helps someone.
