Hall light switch failed where to get replacement parts

I originally posted this in the Solera forum but I think I need a wider audience. This is not necessarily specific to the Solera.

I think my Solera 24R is a 2013.

There is a pair of light switches between the hallway sink and the bathroom door. The switch on the right side has failed. I need to either replace the single switch or replace the entire pair.

Besides that, how do I remove it from the wall? My guess is to use a putty knife and pry it out. I would expect it to be some sort of snap in piece.

Where can I get replacement parts?

Replying to my own post...

Additional research shows that Forest River only sells parts to their dealers. My nearest FR Solera dealer is 2 hours away, 75 miles one way. The part is probably worth less than $20.00. Gas for the truck to do that round trip is $40.00.

Just as a wild guess, Forest River probably uses many of the same parts in different product lines. A light switch seems to fit that category.

I would like to go to the nearest Forest River dealer, even if they do not sell Soleras. They should be able to get the part.

The problem is that the locate a dealer web page does not seem to have a generic option. I have to specify a model, such as Solera.

Does anyone know how to find the nearest Forest River dealer near Fresno, California?

It's going to be a standard 12v rocker switch and should be available through Amazon, Camping World or any number of other sources online for most likely around $10. Far is not going to manufacture a special product for that, they'll simply buy something already available. If it's like most switches, the cover plate will pry off (carefully) and the switch will be screw mounted behind it.

If it looks kinda like the white ones in this photo, the cover will pop off, and the switches / mount plate will be held in place by 2-4 screws.

As said, these are standard RV style switches, and should be available at just about any RV supply store.

Yes switches should be generic. You could take it out and go to any good rv parts store and match it.

I went to my local Camping World store in Fresno. The guy in parts was very helpful. I was looking to replace the entire assembly, which was for two switches. They did not have a double switch, but they had singles. The parts guy said that if I only needed the one switch then buy the single and it will snap into place.

Unfortunately they did not have a color to match mine. The carried white, brown and black. I have a dark brown. So I bought the brown one and DW will just have to live with the color mismatch.

Out of curiosity, I wonder how many different colors are available?
