Hate our Mattress!!

Here's the deal. DH is a bit heavier than me causing me to sleep on a slope. Added a 4" memory foam topper. No better. Now sleeping in a hole on the slope! Took the piece that we cut off the end of the memory foam put it under the memory foam between us, as a bolster. Ugh!!! Anyway I see in the new Camping World Magazine their best seller is a Denver Mattress- Deluxe Euro Top. They are also now selling Comfortaire (like sleep number). If you had this problem how did you resolve it? Short of one of you moving

Also some of you must have the above mentioned mattresses. Your thoughts please.

We had one made by the company that made our very first mattress for our stick home. It's a queen size and after having the same problems as you, it seems like a king size. It was expensive but so much better. My wife is happy and that makes me happy.

I think you should just gain some weight. That shouldn't be too hard to do and it's fun!

We replaced ours with a memory foam mattress from wall mart. Much better and wife loves it. Just bought another 10 inch memory foam mattress for the house since she likes it so much.

On a serious note, we purchased from Ikea, a foam mattress (full queen) for around $300 that sits on top of the Serta coil innerspring that came with the TT. They had quite a number or different firmness mattresses on display to choose from. I did check CW first and this one was about $50 less. I've had it for close to 7 yrs. Had it in previous TT sitting on a short queen mated at the foot end, so my feet wouldn't hang over. If you have a Ikea near you, check it out

My wife and I like very different firmnesses in beds. We bought into the Sleep Number hype/marketing and are completely happy with it. The ordering process turned out to be a flipping nightmare, but once the whole bed made it to me, we are in love.

I love my select comfort at home. I'm 1500 miles from it and just bought this RV and I sure wish i had it with. They are fairly easy to move and set up . My next mattress will be a wool one from the woolen mill. It breathes, moderate temp naturally, dust mite resistant, and no off gassing. At 1700 retail they beat most of the better mattresses as well. I also slept very comfortably on a double queen air mattress from costco for a couple years that was under $100.00

Wife and dog get the bed - Me! I get the jack knife couch. I have a pad I put down on it and sleep very well.

I found that the Serta mattress that is in my 3051 is very comfortable, but then having served in the service I learned to sleep anywhere and anytime.

X2 - if you are a frequent/mostly/full timer, sleep number is the way to go. It is pricey (to say the least!) but in this instance you DO get what you pay for!

We went to a Jamestown mattress store, tried them all and ordered one made in short queen. I think it was an extra 25.00 to have it made short, just returned from 30 days on the road and loved it! I ordered a foam version last year and hated it, ordered the traditional style and now very happy. ( except for the 500. Foam one still sitting in my dining room at home )

Ok so we went shopping today and I think we found the perfect one. We did like KP 351 tried out a few after telling the sales lady what our problem was. They will make the one we chose in a short Queen. Hope it comes in before our next trip on the 14th. Our next worry is getting it in the bedroom

For those wanting a wee bit better; our german nephew ( Hannover) sells and distributes unique hand woven horse hair sleep mattresses. When visiting 2 years ago ( Germany ) he said family day was coming and we could get the beginning mattress for a tad over $7,000 based on a retail of $10,000 plus. Made the $2500, on a MADE IN USA BRAND, we spent last year go down easier!!😁
RV has Trump Serta and we are fine with that.
Then again, hmmm, horse hair, hand woven, sounds like " Housewives of Atlanta" style to me! Or maybe those Jersey people going to JAIL!!
For ex vets: 3 hots ( sometimes ) and a cot was a literal guaranty 👀. Still feel those springs and feather pillow and heavy wool blanket....you KNOW where I come from!

Sleep number at home for the past 5 years, so top of the "must have" list was to get one for the Sunseeker MH. Went with Comfortair from Camping World. Dual chambers so you dont feel your partner if they sleep flop. Radius Queen. We sleep good.

It always helps to know what Moho you have. On our 2011 Berkshire RB we put in a queen size Tempur-pedic cloud and it fits perfect and we sleep like we are home. Well to be honest we full time so.

We custom ordered RV size Queen from Mattress Firm (Serta)
It's adequate but no where near as compfy as the Sterns Foster at the Stick home
I don't have personal experience but at Cosco the other week I saw memory foam setups that have removable Cups all over the surface so you can customize each side with the firmness each of you needs
