High Wind Warning

We will be traveling areas tomorrow that will be pretty windy. Being new to a Class C, how does it take wind gusts of 50-60 mph? Debating staying at a truck stop if it gets too bad.

I had a class C. Better than an A in wind because of lower profile, but in 60 MPH winds, I'm not sure I'd drive a car. If it's a crosswind, it would be difficult and stressful. If it's a steady wind, you can adjust. But there are always gusts. Those are what scares the you know what out of me. Driving in winds can also play havoc with awnings. I'd play it safe if you aren't in a hurry. Otherwise, slow down and go for it😉

Thanks folks. We stayed over at a Flying J's. At 40 mph, sounded like it was tearing the MH apart.

I've been towing RV's for over 20 years in most kind's of weather, but wind especially gusty crosswinds are the worst! It can be done, but you won't like it, you'll be a wreck at the end of the day. My advise stay put! Happy RV'ing.
