Our first motor home had the dining table on the camp side... With a nice big window... When we purchased our second motorhome... We didn't even realize it was an issue til we used it.... Hopefully this post will help someone be more satisfied the first time

Windows upstairs include a large window over the dresser facing the passenger side, and two small windows on the slide out by our headboard of the bed. Seated in any of the living area has you either just to the side other seats and table and each can see the kitchen area as well. Of course, as someone else mentioned, this isn't the first go round, and I think we got it right.

Same floor plan here, just added a bonus room. Best one so far.

I think a lot of it has to do with America’s passionate love affair with TV! Most often layouts have the seats facing the TV to optimise viewing. Can’t understand why on earth someone would want to go camping and watch TV. Have we forgotten how to talk with each other or to strike up a conversation with our campground neighbors!

I also learned, it is very important, the majority of the windows are located on the passenger side... Nothing worst than sitting to your table and the only thing you can see out the window ... Is another persons campsite.. so the blinds go down
Having few windows on the passengers side means you can't see what's going on in your own campsite...
And not being able to walk around the bed... Big peeve of mine... Then the inside person don't have to scramble out to the foot of the bed...
Or make the bed with a boomerang

I love my TT but there are a few annoying things I could do without.
1. It is almost totally unusable with the slides closed. I'd prefer to be be able to access the entire inside without needing them open.
2. The couch sits perpendicular to the tv which means have to turn your head to the left to watch it.
3. No on board generator. I need to haul around a stand alone.
4. Insufficient external storage

A must have for me is end tables for the couch and night stands on both sides of the bed, for the TV remote, my glasses, Kleenex, electric blanket controllers, etc.
It is also important to have grab rails for going up/down the stairs.
