JEFA WiFi Outdoor Omni Antenna
I am considering installing a WiFi antenna on the outside of my coach and I am looking at this:
JEFA Tech: Long Range WiFi Repeater Kit for RVs
Has anyone out there used this? I'm looking for mounting and cable routing tips.
Thanks

WiFi Antenna
I bought the "RadioLabs Inc." WiFi antenna and can't believe all the sites it pulls in. I've even logged on to a restaurant's WiFi from 1/4 mile away. It's unreal how well the antenna works. It's about 9' square and 1" thick with several different mounts on the back and comes with a mount for a pole. We just put it in the front window, plug in the USB to the computer and watch all the different WiFis come online. It is directional, so you may need to turn it to get the best signals.
It comes with about 15' of wire and a USB plug. I paid $119.95 for it and $17 shipping.
Great antenna for a boat at a marina or anywhere NEAR a marina or RVs in State or Fed parks that only have WiFi at the office. Picks up everyone's hotspot too.
The antenna is a "02CONN High Power Directional USB Panel"

This is what I just purchased. Alfa WiFi Camp Pro -- long range Wi-Fi repeater kit -- R36/Tube-(U)N/A
I'm going to mount it to my TV antenna to give it some height over the other campers but foldable with the tv antenna. I hooked it up at my home and it pulled in at least a dozen more local wifi networks than I can see with my home Linksys setup. Time will tell if it is worth the $100.

I have the ALFA kit that I bought through TechnoRV. FANTASTIC. Highly recommended for getting WiFi from restaurants, libraries, camp buildings, etc.

I bought the JEFA Tech. I mounted it to my ladder, ran the cable under my Coach into the front window to the repeater. That was the only place I had an outlet near an opening. I will probably figure something better in the future. It provides you your own secure network. It will only be as fast as the RV Resorts Wi-Fi. It definitely boosted our signal.

Right -- that would be 81 square feet. I think he means it is 9 square feet.

This is an excellent price and its a combo kit. Priced separately is $160 or more. I was about to order all these separately but I ordered the kit today and saved. The Alpha R36 and booster tube have pretty good reviews and appears super easy to program once you park.

I have a similar setup and can easily connect to open wifi networks without issue. I'm trying to connect to xfinity wifi and can connect to the network but don't get the sign-in page. Any ideas?

I'd be happy to. It will be a couple weeks before I have the opportunity to work on it though. I'll post pics and annotate any issues when I do.

I found the accompanying instructions to be very lacking and not in sync with the software/firmware utilized. Even with my "technical" background, I found the initial setup challenging. The available YouTube videos do not show the exact same setup instructions. Once the setup was complete, the hardware does appears to work very well.

Anybody have any mounting ideas for the exterior antenna? I don't have a ladder or a bat wing antenna on my rig.

Does anyone know which device is user friendly to set up? I love the plug n play devices. Interesting topic.

I just got email from Rokland.com who I ordered the Alpha package from. I had also ordered a 12v power supply. They told me it was also in the kit and refunded me my money for the one I ordered. Superb customer service so far. I have not found a price close to what Rokland sells this for.
