Just reserved our first campsite

For the maiden voyage we are headed to Edisto Beach State Park in SC. Arriving July 15 and staying until the 18th.

So excited. If you are camping in the area stop by site 130!

That's awesome. We LOVE that campground, so close to the beach, nice shade and ocean breeze and the marsh right behind you. And Edisto is so away from everything, very relaxing. Enjoy!

If you check the weather forecast you might not think Edisto Island is a pretty cool place. Not this week.

Old timer

Used to have a house there. Check out the Point, south end of the island. Don't miss a visit to Botany Bay. Walk to the beach there for a different view of things. Bikes are welcome.

First day was great ... clear skies and sandy beaches.

Day two and three ..... lots of rain, which was a good thing because I would not have known that the sky light over the master bed leaked .... found that out at 2 in the morning.

Met a lot of nice people. We are really going to enjoy our new rig!

Hope the rain didn't ruin the wedding...
So did you like the campground and would stay there again or recommend it?

We loved the Campground and will be going back again. The wedding was a success and we only had one bad day of rain.

Rain is a bummer while camping yet stories about a camping trip are usually the greatest. Glad you had a good time.

Over all we had a great trip. The rain was a blessing ... it showed us that the skylight in the rear bedroom leaked ... on my wifes side of the bed so I stayed nice and dry . We found a list of things that our dealer needs to fix on the new coach but that is to be expected.

I like your positive attitude!

We don't mind bad weather when we go camping and always bring board games and DVD's in case we're stuck inside...but a lousy weather day in the camper is better than a good weather day at work!! :-)
