Letting motor run

I have a 2018 diesel Isata 3 parked for the winter in Florida. I was wondering how often should the motor be started and how long should it run?

Donít start it unless youíre going to drive it for 30+ minutes. Fresh fluids and connect the batteries to a Battery Tender, then let it hibernate.

Running it and letting it idle without driving it to get all the fluids up to temperature for a while does more harm than good.

If you only leave it for a couple months, no problem, it is worse to run it and idle it. Either leave it alone or go drive it and get it to operating temperature.

When starting it up to drive it should I let it warm up or just take off?

Let it run a couple minutes and drive off, just don't abuse it, no high rpm's until warm, this goes for any engine.
