Is anyone out there towing an MKX?

How easy are they to tow and is it easy to put in tow mode?

I have a 2010 MKX that i tow behind a Georgetown 335. Nothing special about the set up, Blue Ox tow bar, so had a local rv repair shop install the base tow plates. Use a Patriot braking system in the car, put it in neutral and tows fine. The 2010 model still has the key ignition so no issues putting it into neutral. Newer model MKX with the push button keyless ignition though requires something else to put them into neutral, but not sure how that works. Check the Blue Ox website for model year details and availability of base plates.

I'm looking at buying a 2016 MKX for a toad. Be aware the only Baseplate available is from Blueox AND doesn't apply to models with Apaptive Cruise Control.

So don't get a maxed out top of the line model.

I'm sure you have gotten your MKX. I bought a used one a 2013 last week and plan on towing it the first time today. We also sold the wrangler. Great jeep but as a only car just to noisy. We love the MKX so far. Got a great deal on this one with 10,000 miles on it.
