Look What I Found . . .

I have a 2017 Forest River Forester 3171DS, and am on a Coast to Coast National Park tour with my wife. We left Virginia April 22 and are presently in Napa, California. While driving today, I heard a loud thump, followed by a lot of rattling in the kitchen area of my Forester. My wife got up and went back, and said that the sound was resonating from the heating vent next to the steps at the door.

When we got to our campground, I couldn’t imagine what was causing all that noise, especially coming from that area. I looked around and decided to take off the grill to the furnace, and there I found this flashlight, obviously left behind by one of the workers at the factory during assembly. It must have fallen from higher up, causing the loud thump, and then every time we hit a bump, it rattled against the lower part of the furnace. Glad we found it.

Life is good. Enjoy it while you can.

They slap these things together so fast...it's surprising you did not find the worker in there too!

That's a really nice flashlight, too. Put new batteries in it and enjoy! You might could get good use out of it looking for the cause of clunks, creaks and groans going down the highway!

All I found in my new one was a little plastic tool used to press wall paper into the corners.

I found an unused crimp wire nut in my return while cleaning the filter. Glad it was unused or I'd be looking for a bare wire somewhere. A flashlight would have been much better. What brand and model flashlight is it? If the guys on here say it's a good one I might consider it.
