We are hooked to shore power, (50 amp).. Inverter went off sometime in last week. AC items work (Ref./microwave), but we don't have any lights at all. Plus the switch by front door will not turn on (store/run). Do have power at the
120volt plugs. We have motorhome in building and can't get slides in, so we can take it to a repair shop.
You didn't mention a year or model, so this may be way off, but it sounds like all you've lost is 12V power. Two things I would check:
1) If you have an electrical control center, check the 12V breaker. It's usually a very small black button on a white circuit breaker at the lower right of the ECC when looking at it.
2). Assuming you have multiple coach batteries, try bypassing the one closest to the coach. If it has dead cells, etc., it could be keeping power from reaching the coach.

Can start RV, But will not let slides come in with motor running. Diesel will not stay running (starts with AUX Power Button) then shut down after letting go.
A converter is basically a high duty cycle battery charger. Hook up a car charger to your coach batteries and see if they will take a charge. If not replace them with new so you can get it to the shop.

Don't start the coach just hold the aux power button on to see if the slides will come in. Typically the slides can not go out with the engine running but do come in with it running. Your coach is a different breed than what I am used to. The aux switch ties the house and chassis batteries together and thought there was not sufficient coach battery power alone for the slides.
I had something like this happen last year in our Sunseeker 2450S. My converter had two fuses and one was blown. They were a strange size but finally just replaced both with correct ones and have been fine over a year.
Putting the batteries in backwards (even momentarily) will blow the two reverse current fuses. (Typically 40 amp orange fuses)
I would also check the wire from the converter to the AC fuse panel connection before I gave up on the converter. A loose wire can corrode/burn to the point where it is not making contact.

Our new Force lost all the lights inside, it has three fuse panels, two inside one of the baggage bins and one under the bed, after pulling all of the fuses, it was one under the bed causing the loss of interior lights and the Main/Storage switch that lights up red. I thought it was the converter, but just a fuse. Hope that helps.
