p2270 Code

Have a 2012 378xl, with 19k, getting a p2270 code. will reset and I can drive until I stop for gas, then it will come back. Code is bank 1 sensor 2, oxygen sensor stuck on lean. I clean the mass air flow sensor , read in another form that was causing there p2270 code. Where is the sensor located, I think its on the passenger side ,if the code comes back I planed on replacing the bank 1 sensor.

bank one is on the same side as the #1 cylinder the #sensor is usually the one after the CAT. it may be different on your rig. If you are going to replace oyx sensor invest in a sensor wrench designed for removing the oyx sensor to save yourself problems. good luck

Bank 1 sensor 2 is the downstream O2 sensor on the side that cylinder #1 is on. I don't know which side that is off hand.

Good luck!

There is only 3 sensors on the exhaust of my RV, talk to ford and they said the sensor on top of the catalytic convertor was the one causing my P2770 code. If you ever have to replace be sure and get the correct one by using your VIN#.
