I guess you will have over 2000$ in it when finished plus the loss of room in rv. Makes me like laundry mats little more for a couple times a year. But if I did it the combo you are talking would be a good one

Bought the LG combo-now to get it in the MH! It's 27" wide. Won't fit through the door. Anybody removed large rear window for this? What about emergency exit window at head of bed? Will that work with over head cabinet there? Any body have any ideas-all thoughts appreciated!

Lg washer&dryer
If I did not carry it back I would take the lg apart to make smaller and carry in that way or hire a appliance repairman to do it

Here's an idea. Try the Ford cab doors. If really desperate you can remove the passenger seat and/or a cab door.
Last result would be to completely remove one of the slides.

It should just fit through rear window. How do you remove it? After you unscrew the screws inside do you just push out from inside? Is there putty that needs to be removed befor re installing? What do you seal it with? My son and friends will be doing it so I just need to know what we'll be faced with, and what sealant to buy. Thanks for any advice.

pull blinds and valance. pull screws and pry gently from outside. i reseal with butyl tape. trim excess with pen knife right away and then again after a few hours. slice excess vertically following frame and then pull excess off while you slice so it doesnt embed in siding. thats just my preferred way. dont like d foam or putty tape on clamp ring windows. caulk is not needed on butyl...if it has d foam, you could just replace and caulk. i like lexel for a caulk. found at ace. please get the hang of a fine bead before application. its kind of an artform. good luck...

Thanks for the info, Crockett. Can't find butyl tape- stuff I found is called cord weatherstrip by MD. Will that work? The window is 1/4 " bigger than the washer/dryer! I'll let you know how it all turns out.

that ought to fly. just use the lexel because that is more on the order of putty tape. not near as messy though.

Found black butyl on Amazon. Son and friends are doing it this weekend. Have already used w/d out side, very happy with load size(4.2 cf) although drying is different. Have to get used to it, but soo much better than laundromat. I am putting it in front of bunk area , removing couch we have never used, except for storage. Will retain top bunk. Plumbing from under kitchen sink under builtout step to side of fridge wall by 120v outlet. Will drain into kitchen sink drain. Wish me luck! Any thought or advice appreciated.

Think about how it will be winterized. Add some drains for the lines.

Son did the job without problem. We took out the couch, removed carpet and put down rubber floring. Son plumbed hot and cold water fron kitchen sink lines under the step area which we built out and we'll drain into the kitchen sink. He removed the large back window and the 27" LG fit right through. We put the machine with the door facing the rear of the slide, as far forward as possible. The top bunk is still in place, and the bottom area holds laundry hamper and sewing machine and supplies. I really love the LG large capacity(4.2 cf) and its very efficient. I highly recommend it. Thanks for the info , Crockett, the window came out and back in just like you said.

I'm technologically challenged! Don't know how to put pictures in posts, can just barely use iPad. I've done some really neat mods, and would love to show them off, too! Sorry.

Putting washer/dryer combo in Sunseeker
1. If you have an iPad, great! If you're not using the FR app you can get it at the iTunes Store.
2. Find this thread in the app.
3. Click the button below that looks like a photo
4. It will ask you if it can have permission to access your photos on the iPad - say yes
5. Select your photo and then click "upload" in the top right corner
6. The file size window will pop up, I usually select medium.
It sounds like a lot of steps but it flows easily...
Now the reason I wrote this up is because I really want to see the washer/dryer mod. 👍🏼

Thanks for the info-I'll try to post pics soon. The w/d works great, and I just drove from Wyo. to Ca. without problems. To use upper bunk I'm going to have to raise it one inch( I forgot to figure height of w/d legs).
