ReadyBrake

I'm looking at different brake systems for my motorhome- Toyota Matrix combination. Is the Readybrake Receiver Style Supplemental System a good one?

Installation is a pain, but once that is done, its hard to beat a purely mechanical system. I have 0 problems after 20k miles towing 2 different vehicles. Hooking and unhooking is quick and simple.

If I go that way, I'll have it installed, I think. The system looks great for simplicity, effectiveness and price.

I read a couple of posts from people whose installation wasn't correct and had trouble. Only negatives I've seen.

The only difficult part of the installation is securing the brake cable sleeve. Make sure the front end of it is secured well and not floating in the breeze. It has some force that get's applied to it when braking and really needs to be fastened to something metal.
