I have never wash our RV at home due to space limits and in thinking about it, I can't remember the last time I washed any of my vehicles home for which I do have the room.
I bring them to a very nice car wash and let them do it and they do a great job - besides,I can never get the windows as clean and streak free as they do and if the windows aren't spotless, I don't consider the wash job done.

I enjoy the wash, its good exercise
The roof gets so dirty, I don't understand why

Reviving an old thread here... I wash and wax my RV (31ft class C) towards the end of the season. About a 3 day job, one day to wash, starting from the roof and working downward, including the awning and another couple days to wax it, doing a couple sides a day. Winterizing the plumbing and cleaning the inside is another day.

Murpry's Law, the roof is the most difficult part to wash.

The roof is my favorite part to wash. I think it's the easiest.

I'd like mine a lot better if it was ten feet closer to the ground.

Yeah I don't mind the height. I don't like trying to wash all the nooks and crannies around the doors windows awning etc.

I don't mind it, I just hook it up and drag it down to the local truck wash and let them do it.
If it was closer to the ground I could save 35 bucks.

Those of you that do wash the roof...what do you finds works best on the rubber roof? Some say just regular mild dish soap, some say regular car wash soap, stay away from anything harsh....???

I use turtle wax car wash. But I have seen other posts on here where they have used everything from simple green to specialty roof wash for rv's.

I would use the same stuff I use to wash my truck if I washed it.

To get your windows sparkley(?), use newspaper. No lint left behind. Also, wipe inside windows one direction, outside the other direction.. I.e. up and down or side to side. Much easier to find the streaks and which side is the culprit.
