Tough to help with so little info. What kind of trailer, and better yet what radio is in it? Do you have an owners manual for the radio?
Most radios that are SIRIUS capable, are just that, capable with a receiver and an antenna. Get an owners manual for the radio and read what is required. May have to find a manual online.

I'll be picking up the unit next week. It is a new Berkshire 390bh. The sales rep has a call in to see if anything has to be added. The radio is a Jensen and from the picture it has sat on one of the knobs.

This is from the Jensen site

Generation 3.0 SIRIUS Technology: Allows a SIRIUS Dock & Play unit to act as the satellite radio receiver. This eliminates the need for a separate SIRIUS tuner box! Simply put the Dock & Play into its docking station and listen to SIRIUS radio with full functionality and control through the stereo head unit. It also means that your SIRIUS tunes are completely portable. Your favorite SIRIUS stations don't have to remain strictly in your equipment. Now you can take the SIRIUS Dock & Play unit out of your equipment and use it in your car and home, all under ONE single SIRIUS subscription! (not included) We know you just have to have this now, right? Check out the SV5TK1B SIRIUS Dock & Play Vehicle Kit!
NOTE: If you want to take advantage of the SIRIUS Satellite Radio Ready feature you will need:

Option 1
- SIRIUS Satellite Radio Subscription
- DLP2500G3RTL - SIRIUS Satellite Gen 3.0 Radio Receiver. Compatible with All Revisions.
- 73086 - SIRIUS Satellite Vehicle Antenna

This same subject came up just a few months ago and was covered in a lot of detail in a long thread. Suggest you do a search using the search feature at the top of the page for Satellite Radio.

XM in the Flagstaff

The Concertone unit in our 2010 Flagstaff came with an XM radio reciever, not Sirius. That involved switching my DW's car from Sirius to XM when her Sub expired. I bought the car kit for the Rig's XM radio and swap it when we go out.

We just picked up our 390bh and I see the Sirius ready. I'm not sure if I will do that or just take my portable unit and use it in my Berkshire. I hate to spend another $300 or so for something I already have.

XM vs Sirius

I had 2 Sirius radios but the TV came with XM installed.

When Sirius/XM merged I thought I could add the XM in the truck as a second reciever to my Sirius subscription. When they said, "not only no, but H... No," I decided that an XM switch out was the way to go.

So I turned on the truck XM sub and the camper's SkyFi XM removable unit when the Sirius Subscription expired and just use them.

We put the SkyFi in the car when we are not camping (it has neither installed Factory).

I had the same problem, I have a Sirius in my car but camper was a XM , no big deal. just switch,,, not!! I had to cancel my sirius and activate my XM.. Even tho they merge the accounts are different. So now I just use XM in both car and camper. fortunaly they left the XM box in camper so I was able to use the docking station for my car so now I just switch back and forth. but the antenna is the same for sirius and xm thank goodness
