Small crack in front cap

I have a 2015 3010. I went out to wax the front end the other day and found this small crack at one of the lights at the top of the cap. It's on the passenger side. I don't know much about fiberglass, so I wanted to see if anyone can tell if that looks like it would be from stress or if it looks like possibly was hit by something. I temporarily caulked it, but am going to do something more permanent when we start using it in the spring.Click image for larger version

You are under Warranty so take advantage of it. If they don't cover it drill a small hole at each end of the crack so it doesn't grow and seal it. Personally I would use silicone.

I'd be concerned about the cause, still under stress. A striking would chip the paint?
