(Solved) Please help, currently camping w/ no hot water.

I have a fr windsong and we are on our first outing and dont have any hotwater. I have hot water in the tank and I shutoff the bypass but still will only get a small trickle of hot water out any faucet. Any ideaswhat it could be? We need hot water. Thanks.

Clean out all the faucets to get rid of any construction debris. Check your out side shower and make sure the valves are off. Hope that does it. Recheck the position of your bypass valves.

Serioulsy. Check your shower hand wands. If the shutoff in the wand is closed and the valves are left open, cold water will cross over to the hot water side when you run the hot water. The effect is the same as leaving the bypass valve open.

First of all, to verify water in the tank, pull the pop off valve, and make sure you get water out. If you have water there, make sure the water heater is lighting. You mention small trickle of water out of the hot faucet. When you first turn the hot water on, if it is hot, then turns cold, bypass valve is set wrong. Re check.

As you're saying that you can't get hot water flow, have you checked to ensure that the supply and discharge valves to/from the water heater are fully open?

Thanks for all the replies. It turns out my neighbor is a rv guru; he came over and looked at it for me. The back flow preventer was messed up. We removed it and took the guts out of it and she is working fine now. Once again thanks again for the replies, the first trips are always a little tough.
